1. Explore the foundations of globalization

2. Examine historical impacts and legacies of cultural contact between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples (exchange of goods and technologies, imperialism, depopulation, influences on government and social institutions imperialism, Eurocentrism)

3. Examine the foundations and expansion of economic globalization (F. A.
