Get ready for a pile of acrynoums as we move into discussing organizations!
Today we are looking at the reason for GATT - General Agreement on Tariffs and Trades after WWII and then it's evolution into the World Trade Organization (WTO). We will look at what this organization is all about and the power it holds in our society today. We will then be discussing the pro's and con's and actually participating in a mock WTO trial.
Check out this video that highlights the riots against the WTO. It is important to understand WHAT this organization is if it is able to generate THIS kind of reaction!
